The USENIX Board of Directors announces with regret that Peter H. Salus
will be leaving the post of Executive Director of the Association to
become Director of University and Government Relations at OSF.  Ellie
Young, who has been Peter's Deputy, with be Acting Executive Director
pending Board action.

Peter has done a wonderful job over his three years and the Board is happy
that he will continue as Managing Editor of COMPUTING SYSTEMS in
addition to continuing to offer the tutorial on writing and presenting
papers at the next few USENIX conferences.
