Hi,

Sorry if it is a faq, but what is the lastest version of LiS ?

On GCOM web site I have 3 answers :

<http://www.gcom.com/home/linux/lis/kernel.html>
        LiS-2.18

<ftp://ftp.gcom.com/pub/linux/src/>
        LiS-2.12

<ftp://ftp.gcom.com/pub/linux/src/LiS/>
        LiS-2.17

Éric.

Honestly, it has gotten a bit fuzzy lately.

LiS-2.18 will be out soon and the documentation is ahead on that.

The Latest-LiS link at < ftp://ftp.gcom.com/pub/linux/src/> actually points
to LiS-2.17.2, which is technically correct.

I stopped maintaining the symlink at < ftp://ftp.gcom.com/pub/linux/src/> and
have now removed it.

I started publishing a series of "alpha" versions earlier this year to try
out some things that I thought were too dangerous for a stable release.
Now, the version LiS-2.17.U, while still marked as an alpha, is fairly
stable and people seem to be using it.

I hope to resolve the whole thing soon with LiS-2.18.
