Sorry if this is a FAQ, but
Are there any plans to incorporate LiS into the offical Linux kernel?

There are plenty of emails in the LiS mail archives on this subject.

Short form: I don't want LiS to be placed into the kernel because I don't want it to acquire
full GPL license. I want it separate from the kernel and to stay LGPL.

For more details please refer to the mail archives.
