Hello Brian, A thought on the Hotwired personals. I thought of putting
one out there, but I was reluctant to have my current and main email address
as the reply mechanism. It seems to me it should be relatively easy to set
up a mail forwarding scheme where you assign a "box number" to each ad. ie:
the ad might read. "Single man ... reply 3342@personals.hotwired.com" which
would really be a mail "account" on a PO box machine which would simply
forward mail to the recipients actual email address. The address entered in
the ad entry screen. You might be able to charge a buck or so extra per
week for this service.
