WINDOW IN THE NET

ART+COM is announcing an event with conferences, science- and art
related projects called "window in the net" from 25.11-6.12.1994.
Locally in Berlin (Budapesterstr.44) as well as non locally in WWW, on
TV and on mbone, we are investigating possibilities of informationflow
and reality in netspaces.
The MEDIA FORUM BERLIN-BRANDENBURG is thereby opened.

SCREENING

We are presenting ART+COM projects like Cybercity Berlin, Vidimed,
Terravision, Ping and others via the mbone, TV, WWW and in local
presentation environments. You are welcome to take a look at
URL http://www.artcom.de/
to get an overview of our current research and development projects.

NEWS FROM THE ARTIFICIAL SPACE

a screening series sent out for one hour a day in and from the net
features themes ranging from meeting in virtual spaces, humans and
their representations, virtual cinematography, Internet art, VR in
distributed user environments, Internet site seeing, visits at other
sites, games, etc. We will combine local event scenes with non local
net scenes and create a dramaturgy of virtual spaces in real time.

PARTICIPATION

You can participate in this event by

1. sending images, mpeg movies, sounds, 3D objects to the self
generating movie Ping (a 3D datascape) located under
URL http://www.artcom.de/ping/mapper
By placing your input on the map, the position of your object in the 3D
net-space is defined. All objects can be seen via WWW and mbone as well
as in our event space. This way you can participate and
interact with the datascape as well as with non-local and local
visitors.

2. scheduling you or your institution/company to present work
(e.g.datascapes) or ideas to the themes or conferences.

3. opening up a camera eye in the net so our eye agent can come for a
visit.
