I certainly hope not -- I haven't noticed any postings that seem to be
saying this. Different languages are good for different needs. HTML is
pretty good at expressing text in an efficient, portable, linkable
manner. VRML should be oriented at one task (expressing VR in a similar
manner), rather than try to be all tools to all people...
