I think that this is a good idea. On the one hand, I am quite interested in
who is doing what in this area; on the other, a unified compendium of list
participant bios/philosophies is a lot more elegant, and useful, than a
whole lot of random e-mails.

If some kind benefactor would supply the compute resources and real estate
then we could even get fancy and stash some multimedia documents, complete
with visage and voice, introducing ourselves and expressing our interests in
public. Is there some institution or well funded concern that would like to
position themselves in the forefront of VR? Huh?
