i presume this is said humorously?
1. there are still people out there who have no
access to graphics and run something like lynx.
2. and of those who do, there are people like me
who resent the waste of bandwidth and run with
images switched off, only downloading them
if they really, really, have to. i would tend
to avoid sites which required this.
(but then, i'm old and cantankerous and
believe that pictures are worth a thousand words, but no more
than a thousand words!)
