This forum was created to discuss protocol and development regarding
the HTML language, not announcements, discussions of the web in
general, servers, etc. This listserve has been rendered almost
useless with noise lately, as someone mentioned this is probably the
spill-off from various newsgroups.

There are other listservers and newsgroups that discuss these other
important issues. Please post messages to the appropriate newsgroup:

comp.infosystems.www.announce

comp.infosystems.www.servers.ms-windows
comp.infosystems.www.servers.unix

You can also subscribe to other listservers, such as www-talk. Please
refrain from posting messages that do not pertain to the forum topic.
If a discussion is begun here and it doesn't pertain to the group at
large, please take it offline into email ASAP. By keeping focused
within each group we reduce the overall noise level and allow for
more effective communication.

I'm sure I'm not alone in voicing this opinion.

Murray
