I'd love to content-negotiate based on something rational, but I've yet to
see a commonly used browser tell me anything rational about what it can do.

The least we could do is come up with a proposed standard for the UserAgent
field though.

Agent/Version (platform info)

is common but not universal, and a lot of people leave out the actual platfo=
rm.

I'm not sure which upsets me more: that people are so unwilling to accept
responsibility for their own actions, or that they are so eager to regulate
everyone else's.
