If you mean the inclusion of arbitrary media types in a document, then
<A HREF="..." REL="EMBED"> or the more specialized <FIG SRC="..."> can bot

Oh sure, you've missed the point completely. If you did something like that, it would more or less conform to the specs, and even worse, it would be backward
compatable. I mean, we can't have those people not using the latest version
of Netscape using the web. Don't be silly. These things should be dealt with by
introducing brand new tags into HTML on an ad hoc basis. Next thing you know
you'll be suggesting *designing* HTML, or that people writing browsers should
read the HTML specs.
