Re: meta information (and why www-html ?)

I moved my discussion of the META element to the www-html list since
it seemed like the appropriate thing to do. I am beginning to wonder
about the utility of splitting this list -- it seems to me that WWW
and HTML are inseparable and changes to HTML cannot be made without
effecting all WWW developers. The same can be said of HTTP.
Am I alone in this view?

In fact, I think it would be a better idea to just change the list name
to "www-developers" and thus make it easier for newbees to see that we
aren't talking about "how to use" issues.
