If we could actually come up with something that blends TeX with HTML
it would win us a *lot* of users who are ready to switch _today_ in
order to get the advantages of online hypermedia. Unfortunately, I
think the complexity plus the corresponding workload involved in
creating and supporting tools to actually use such a format are
prohibitive in the near term. (What's my point? I'm not sure I have
one...)
