Lynx 2.0 (Alpha version) is now available.

Lynx was developed by the University of Kansas for use as a CWIS
interface.

With the help of the WWWLibrary Lynx is now a complete WWW client!

Lynx provides a simple, easy to use full screen curses interface
for UNIX systems. As well as some advanced features such as
a configureable and editable home page for each user and cut
and paste functions for moving links to the home page.

Lynx provides a simple yet powerful printing interface, providing
the functionality to mail files to yourself and any number of
system administrator configured printers. Lynx also fills
in some of the missing Gopher interface. (CSO, file transfer, etc)

Assistance is needed for porting Lynx to all operating system, as
K.U. has a very limited number of operating systems in use.

For a limited time the alpha (and soon beta) version will be available
for anonymous ftp from 'acs220.cc.ukans.edu' in the /pub directory.

Any and all comments and suggestions are welcome and encouraged!
