Product Roadmap

A common proposal made to Telligent clients is to "board the Community Server train". More simply put, rather than investing in custom features the suggestion is offered to work with Telligent to prioritize features built directly into Community Server.

The roadmap below provides some guidance around the planned versions and Community Server. Also, please review our bug database for more information about open work items.

Version 2.0 (February 20th, 2006)

Focus is on simplicity and quality. A complete pass will be made through the application focused on simplifying common tasks, building more wizards, and adding more help oriented content. More integration work across base features will also be done.

Key Work Items:

Version 2.1 (Summer 2006)

Version 3.0 (Early 2007)

Application fully converted to ASP.NET 2.0 to take advantage of ASP.NET 2.0 functionality and performance. This will also contain the first version of the new CMS add-on.

Additional information and details will be published as releases approach. If you would like additional roadmap information this can be provided under disclosure.
