Innovative Web Content Publishing Solution Speeds Deployment of Corporate Web Applications

Site Server 3.0 Commerce Edition. The integration of these two technologies speeds Web application deployment and lowers Web site maintenance costs for corporations. NCompass Resolution 2.1 also includes support for Microsoft SQL Server? 7.0 and permits multilingual Web site creation.

Resolution 2.1 security has been integrated with Site Server's LDAP Membership Services to provide user authentication and allows customers to control access to the Resolution site content without requiring changes to their existing security setup. Resolution subscribers can perform fully authenticated searches for content based upon personalized subscription rights to the system. This technology integration speeds deployment time by leveraging existing investments in Microsoft Site Server. Resolution customers have the option of using either the Windows NTTM Directory Services or Site Server Membership Services.

NCompass Resolution is designed to take full advantage of Microsoft SQL Server's enhanced feature set including tighter integration with Microsoft Windows NT Server, extensive internationalization support, distributed transaction services and dynamic memory management resulting in smoother and more robust performance and considerably easier configuration of the system.

Oracle 8 Support
NCompass Resolution has been extended to support the Oracle 8 database, which can reside on either a Microsoft Windows NT or UNIX platform and be fully accessible from either platform by the Resolution Server.

Resolution 2.1 will be generally available on July 12, 1999. Pricing starts at $39,000.
