Public online access to AT&T news releases, speeches, factbook

BASKING RIDGE, N.J. -- MAY 31, 1994 -- Selected speeches by AT&T executives are the latest addition to AT&T News Online, an electronic database of AT&T news, facts and figures.

AT&T News Online, created for journalists who cover AT&T, remains primarily a source for the latest news and announcements from the company. In addition to news releases, the system also carries the company's three most recent annual reports (1991, 1992 and 1993), and the most current AT&T Fact Book, which is a summary of information on AT&T's businesses, revenues, alliances, joint ventures, people and assets.

AT&T News Online carries more than 2,000 press releases going back five years. We have just added a selection of speeches from 1993 and 1994, ranging from recent congressional testimony to talks delivered in various forums such as industry gatherings, trade shows, and economic clubs.

The fact book contains many of the company's "vital statistics," including such items as notable AT&T Bell Labs inventions, AT&T business units and groups, corporate environmental and philanthropic activities, a corporate history, employee head counts, corporate revenues and many other facts. The fact book was updated in April 1994.

News releases are available via AT&T News Online whenever they are issued to the media.

There is no charge to access AT&T News Online.
